Get your Karolina workspace configured and ready for your customer success team in minutes.
Quick Start (3 Steps)
The simplified onboarding gets you to value in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Connect Slack
- Click “Connect Slack” to authorize the Karolina app
- Select your primary channel for alerts
- You’re now connected to where your team works
Why Slack first? Karolina delivers insights where decisions happen - in Slack. No new tabs to check.
Step 2: Connect 1 Data Source
Connect one integration to get started:

Don’t have API access? Skip this step - you can manually add accounts.
Step 3: See Your Dashboard
That’s it! You’re now on your dashboard with:
- Health distribution overview
- At-risk accounts highlighted
- Daily briefings at 9am
- Real-time alerts in Slack
Optional Setup (Later)
Once you’re live, configure these when needed:
AI Models (Optional)
Add your own API keys for advanced AI features:
- OpenAI (GPT-4)
- Anthropic (Claude)
- Groq (Fast inference)
Or use Karolina’s built-in models at no extra cost.
Additional Integrations
Connect more data sources anytime:

Team Invites
Invite your CS team from Settings → Team.
Post-Onboarding Checklist
After setup, your first week:
- Review your health distribution (green/yellow/red)
- Check your first daily briefing (9am)
- Configure alert thresholds
- Add team members
- Create your first playbook

- Admin: Full access
- Manager: Team and workflow management
- CSM: Account management
- Viewer: Read-only access

After completing the welcome flow:
- Review your Dashboard
- Assign accounts to team members
- Configure notification preferences
- Set up custom fields for your business
- Create your first workflow
Account Assignment
Manual Assignment
- Go to Accounts
- Click on an account
- Click Assign CSM
- Select a team member
Auto-Assignment Rules
Set up rules to automatically assign accounts:
- Go to Settings → Workflows
- Click Add Assignment Rule
- Configure conditions:
- Industry equals “Enterprise”
- MRR greater than $10,000
- Assign to specific CSM or round-robin
Dashboard Customization
Personalize your dashboard:
- Click the customize icon on dashboard cards
- Choose metrics to display
- Set date ranges and comparison periods
- Save your layout
